Support for the DJCFP Drive

Apology and Update

We sincerely thank you for your generous support of our recent fundraising campaign, “Support for the DJCFP Drive.”

The campaign concluded on October 23rd, 2025, raising EUR 430, which represents 8% of our target goal of EUR 5,000. Unfortunately, due to an error in the campaign setup, we had inadvertently selected a crowdfunding option that requires the project to reach 100% of its goal in order for funds to be released. This means that, as the campaign did not reach 100% of its goal, all contributions will automatically be refunded to donors.

We deeply apologise for this oversight and any inconvenience it may have caused. Please rest assured that we have reviewed our internal processes to prevent this from happening again.

We truly appreciate your understanding and continued encouragement. We hope you will consider supporting us again in our next fundraising campaign, which is planned for early next year.

Overview

Join us in strengthening the future of global child and adolescent mental health by supporting the Donald J. Cohen Fellowship Program, a mentorship/training program for young professionals. Our mission is to foster the professional development of emerging leaders in child and adolescent mental health worldwide. Your contribution will help nurture the next generation of leaders in child and adolescent psychiatry and mental health research.

Support for the DJCFP Drive

Support for the DJCFP Drive is a fundraising campaign organised by IACAPAP with the aim of raising funds to sustain the Donald J. Cohen Fellowship Program (DJCFP), and offering travel grant support to shortlisted fellows attending the DJCFP 2026, which will be held during the 27th World Congress of IACAPAP 2026 in Hamburg, Germany, from July 1st to 4th, 2026.

The Donald J Cohen Fellowship Program (the DJCF Program) is a training program for young professionals inaugurated at the 2004 IACAPAP World Congress in Berlin. Its aim is to foster the professional development of emerging leaders in child and adolescent mental health worldwide, with leadership interpreted appropriately for different regions and countries.

Although we have set a flexible goal for our fundraising campaign, we have a clear target of raising 5,000 Euro. Every contribution counts towards achieving this goal. It's a significant amount, but we believe that we can reach this amount.
