24th IACAPAP Lunch & Learn Webinar

Tuesday, 22 July 2025
12:00 PM Sydney (AEST) | 2:00 AM UTC | 10:00 PM EDT
Note: This webinar has been scheduled to accommodate the time zone of the Asia Pacific's region.
Topic: The prevalence of mental disorders in adolescents living in Kenya, Indonesia and Vietnam
Until recently, there were very few studies available that accurately measured the prevalence of mental disorders in adolescents living in low and middle income countries. This information is needed in order to plan services and guide national mental health strategies. This webinar will report the results of the National Adolescent Mental Health Surveys, prevalence surveys conducted in Kenya, Indonesia and Vietnam. The prevalence of six common mental disorders, risk and protective factors and service use will be discussed.
