Clinician/ Educator with more than 20 years of teaching and client  engagement experiences. Prior to this he had worked at numerous agencies supporting vulnerable clients including those who were incarcerated. He has designed programmes centred on mental health that provided for youths, especially those at risk to overcome their adversity and move towards a fulfilling and functional life. His engagement with youths entailed mentoring, coaching and even playing the role of an advocate as to address their social and emotional needs. His Doctoral research looked at the impact of community as to address school irregularity. He has been invited to speak in numerous local and global forums on mental health. He also has won numerous accolades including the pioneer Silent hero Award and volunteers time at MINLAW and MSF. Proudly, he was also accorded a Certificate of Merit by the former Singapore President Mdm Halimah for efforts during Covid. He was inspired by the clients that he engaged and that yielded a Singapore short story book that he hopes will inspire every individual. He hopes the society will evolve to be more open and provide better support for those who needs it the most. Especially in the mental health sphere. He had also been part of National Language campaigns with NLB.
