Call for Psychiatrist Raters for IACAPAP & SNF Global Centre Item Bank
IACAPAP, in partnership with the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Global Center at the Child Mind Institute and in collaboration with more than 100 mental health experts around the world, are joining forces to create a free, multilingual item bank to assess mental health conditions in children and adolescents around the world. This item bank will be undergoing translatability assessment, pretesting, and psychometric assessment in the next phase. We are now approaching the psychometric evaluation phase, which will further refine the tool for global application.
We are calling for psychiatrists who have 5 years of experience & above who will be willing to work with us to review information collected on respondents from DAWBA and assign a diagnostic code. Each person will need to attend a virtual training (about 4 – 5 hours) in English to code the information that we will coordinate. The total hours for coding is between 11 to 19 hours (including 5 hours for training), depending on location, and it can be distributed over a couple of weeks so that you do not need to have all of the hours allocated for the same week for coding. It will happen in the next two months (December or January). A small token of allowance will be provided upon completion of the review.
List of countries that we require psychiatrist raters: Australia, Canada, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand, United Kingdom and United States.
Please submit your interest via email and submit a copy of your CV to info@iacapap.org no later than November 18th, 2024.
