ANITA THAPAR IS ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF IACAPAP 2024 SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMClinical and academic psychiatrist researches ADHD and depression in particular[USE PHOTO OF SPEAKER]The IACAPAP 2024 scientific program is being carefully prepared to offer professionals from all over the world opportunities for knowledge exchange, networking and scientific updatingThe Congress will feature leaders in the field of child and adolescent mental health and psychiatry, such as the clinical scientist Anita Thapar, from Wales (UK).Anita is an expert in child neurodevelopmental disorders and depression and directs the academic section of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the Division of Psychological Medicine and Clinical Neurosciences at Cardiff University and also the developmental disorders group in the Center for Neuropsychiatric Genetics and Genomics.

Her research mainly comprises: 1) the origins, development and complications of neurodevelopmental disorders of children and adolescents with a focus mainly on ADHD and 2) depression in adolescence. We look forward to seeing you in Rio de Janeiro in March 2024!
