Tolulope Bella-Awusah, MD
Dr Tolulope Bella – Awusah obtained her medical degree from the University of Ibadan Nigeria and Fellowship in Psychiatry from the West African College of Physicians. She has a Master of Science degree in Child and Adolescent Mental Health from the Centre for Child and Adolescent Mental Health University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She is currently a lecturer at the Department of Psychiatry, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Head Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, University College Hospital Ibadan, and Acting Head, Centre for Child and Adolescent Mental Health University of Ibadan Nigeria.
She is passionate about improving the mental health of infants, children, adolescents and women and works as a leader of multidisciplinary teams of Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMH) professionals in the sectors of Health and Education. Her research interests include school mental health, psychosocial treatments and mood disorders.
Dr Tolulope Bella – Awusah holds a number of International positions including President, African Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health (AACAMH), and Vice President International Association for Child and adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions (IACAPAP).
